| Biography | ARTIST SONIC MATTER_VIDEO LOUNGE Bella (1988, Rio de Janeiro) is an artist that works primarily with sound and light and explores boundaries between the listening, the imperceptible and the matter, building electronics and facilitating workshops. By questioning the hegemonic power structure, Bella has been seeking to create horizontal groups and a constant exchange between a diversity of artists. Currently finishing a master in creative processes in music at Universidade São Paulo. International residencies at: One Beat Virtual (2021), CTM Music Makers Hacklab (2019, Berlin), Binaural/Nodar (2019, Portugal), Lo Spazio Poschiavo (2016, Switzerland). Their audiovisuals, performances, soundwalks, sound pieces and installations have been occupying festivals, art galleries, museums, concerts halls, movie theaters, radio airwaves and the virtual. |
