| Biography | Manon Fantini (*1983) was born in French-speaking Switzerland and lives and works in Zurich. In her artistic practice, blurring the line between performance and mediation, she creates terrains where unexpected potentials and synergies can emerge. Fantini’s formats, developed in close connection with given contexts, mobilize individuals and neighborhoods and foster engagement and positive curiosity. Her performances have enabled her to set up collective experiences abroad (São Paulo Architecture Biennale, Kunstverein Wagenhalle, Stuttgart), and in Switzerland, where she develops and facilitates processes for cultural organizations (Theater Gessnerallee, Zurich, Theater Südpol, Luzern) as well as for housing cooperatives and developing neighborhoods (Westhof, Dübendorf). Since 2021, Fantini has been curating and managing the SONIC MATTER_village community program. |
