BiographyMaxime Le Saux (*1982, France) is a freelance sound engineer from Bern who works for Schallwerk Audiotechnik GmbH, among others. In addition to his involvement in various live projects in the field of contemporary music, Maxime Le Saux has also specialised in the production of contemporary music for years, combining the recording and amplification of acoustic instruments with the spatial diffusion of electronic sound effects via various surround systems.
After completing his Master's degree in Image & Son at the Université des Sciences de Brest and a Certificat d'Études Musicales at the Conservatoire de Brest, he first worked as a sound engineer at IRCAM - Institut de Recherche et Coordination acoustique/musique in Paris from 2006 to 2013. He has been self-employed since 2013 and has lived in Switzerland since 2015.
He offers his skills and experience in sound engineering to artists and musicians who want to expand the boundaries of their musical creativity. Various projects are in preparation with the Camerata Bern, the IGNM Bern, the Ensemble Proton, the Ensemble Nikel, the Ensemble Hyperduo, the Ensemble Contrechamps and others.
