| Biography | Mio Chareteau uses concrete materials (audiocassettes, voice, gravel, soya seeds) and composes works that are both sound and visual images. A pianist who is playing without touching the instrument, five percussionists using confetti cannons, a quartet pouring buckets of gravel. Her body of work draws a line between still life, minimal music, and meticulous performance. |
