Description Sargent and Oliver are co-composing a meditative, 30-minute stage work for saxophone, synthesizer, and computer. The piece is tailored to Oliver's preferred instruments: the unique combination of saxophone and synthesizers — a kind of futuristic organ. Sargent is developing a complex computer program that manipulates the sounds in real-time through sophisticated generative algorithms, creating unique musical situations each time.
