| Biography | –ous is an artist-run label and collective exploring electronic and experimental music with intention, depth, and edges. –ous releases a broad range of music from experimental electronica, to avant-pop and deconstructed techno, no-input-mixing bleeps and drones, modular explorations to bass music, leftfield and modern classical music. To date more than 50 releases by Swiss and international artists have shaped the label. Artists include Ludwig Berger, Bit-Tuner, Noémi Büchi, Dorian Concept, Feldermelder, Furtherset, Simon Grab, Ink!, IOKOI, Lua Jungck, Legowelt, Svetlana Maraš, David Meier, Musique Infinie, Jan Nemeček, NHK yx Koyxen, Julian Sartorius, Senking, Slon, SPIME.IM, Tresque, and Violeta García & Hora Lunga. Through the years –ous has been organising and collaborating on residency formats and various events in between Zürich, Basel, Fribourg, Lausanne, St.Gallen, Luzern, Geneva, Milano, and Torino. The label is based in Zurich. |
