| Biography | Spectres, curated by Axel Kolb and Merlin Züllig, is a concert series dedicated to new acousmatic music: in each edition, performers and attendees are enveloped in near-total darkness, immersed in a soundscape crafted by artists using multiple loudspeakers strategically placed throughout the performance area. The speakers extend their reach to encompass multiple spaces, accentuating and extending the venue’s acoustics and becoming the artists’ site-specific instrument. Spectres delivers a decentralized, collective, and yet individual sonic experience, fostering synergy between sound, space, and participants. |
