Contribute to the soundguide

Thank you very much for entering your event in the soundguide!

The soundguide publishes events from the field of music that meet the following criteria:

  • The event has a clear experimental character or can be assigned to one of the following areas: Contemporary Music, Free Improvisation, Sound Art
  • for concerts, exhibitions, etc.: the larger part of the programme was created no more than 70 years ago or at least one world premiere is included in the programme.
  • The programme takes place in the Canton of Zurich. In the case of online or radio programmes, the place of production has to be in the Canton of Zurich.
  • The completed online form must be submitted no later than the 1st calendar day of the month preceding the event. (For an event taking place on 3 April or 30 April, the completed form must thus be submitted no later than 1 March).

Your entry in the soundguide is free of charge.

The registered events are published monthly, on each last Friday of the month preceding the event, via the following channels:

On the second Friday of the month, the «soundguide Spot Light» will also be used on the social media channels to draw attention to selected events in the independent music scene.

We ask all event organisers who register in the soundguide to tag their own posts about the event with #soundguidezurich and to make soundguidezurich co-host of their Facebook event.

If you have any questions or feedback about our offer, please don't hesitate to contact soundguide@sonicmatter.ch.
